Our Hammer Voicing Blocks made specifically to the dimensions specified by André Oorebeek in his voicing manual “The Voice of the Piano“.  Indispensable for supporting grand piano hammers for filing and needling. They are machined from rock maple, hand sanded and finished, with the hammer tail support ledge trimmed with a leather strip.

These blocks are sold as a set of two – the long block is perfectly dimensioned to fit exactly into the shortest treble section of Steinway and Yamaha grand pianos, while the short block has the perfect length to support hammers on the hammer flange rail for low shoulder (“Battery”) voicing.
